Hygiene Operative

This is a part-time Hygiene Operative role on the weekend night shift at Manor Farm's Shercock Processing Plant in Co. Cavan, Ireland. The position involves cleaning and sanitising poultry processing and production areas to ensure they meet hygiene standards before production begins. Work is carried out on Saturdays and Sundays only, from 18:00 to 02:00am, totalling 16 hours per week. The employer is Carton Bros (trading as Manor Farm), a food business established in 1775 with around 1,200 staff. Full training will be provided, and all necessary PPE and protective clothing are supplied.

Typical requirements

• Reliable, punctual and able to work the full weekend night shift
• Comfortable with physically demanding and repetitive work
• Able to work in wet, temperature-controlled conditions around raw poultry
• Strong commitment to hygiene, food safety and workplace safety
• Able to follow procedures accurately and work independently or as part of a team
• Previous experience in industrial hygiene or food/meat processing is an advantage but not essential
